Becky and Pedro have one little thing they do that really stuck with me throughout their engagement session and their wedding. It’s not a major thing or anything that would resonate to anyone that hangs out with them for any period of time. In fact, it’s just two little words. Six letters. ”My love.”
Becky would ask Pedro a question and end her question with “My love.”
Pedro would answer with a simple answer ending it with “My love.”
This goes back and forth all day long to a point it mimics an punctuation mark, but it really encompasses how they are with each other. I met them last year when doing their engagement session on Marco Island, Florida and they were a pleasure to work with. They are stunningly beautiful/handsome (take your pick) and the warmest personalities to match. I felt like an instant friend. Needless to say I was stoked to see them again this weekend for their wedding at the Naples Botanical Garden in Naples, Florida. The gardens already beautiful in their own right, were transformed into a really elegant space for a night-time ceremony and party. A mix of American and Brazilian families collided for one awesome night under a near full moon and perfect weather.
For me, it was good just to see them again and spend the day hearing “my love” again. It’s an awesome thing.
