The Eleven Weddings family tree is growing rapidly. In general, I book brides and grooms through no advertising whatsoever. I rely on word of mouth, someone who knows someone, etc…but mostly it’s a former bridesmaid or bride or family member or distant cousin or random friend I met for 30 seconds who recommends the guy who shot “X’s” wedding. That’s me. Luckily, I was already in the circle with Jill and Eric through a really amazing friend and past wedding couple – Melissa and Chad. My wife is friends with all these guys as well and through a shared love of wine the pieces just fell into place. It’s a small town. We find each other.
Jill and Eric had an awesome ceremony at St. Martha’s Catholic Church in Sarasota, where the father was awesome to work with as a former photographer. Free reign. That is rare at church services. They followed up that with a great reception at the Bird Key Yacht Club in Sarasota. Jill and Eric were awesome to work with as I knew they would be. They were easy to shoot, completely comfortable, fun to be around and just like making pictures with friends, because essentially that’s what we were doing – just on the biggest day of their lives. Their friends and family were great and totally made the night so much fun ending with a crazy “Call Me Maybe” soundtracked trolley ride.
Congrats you two! Hopefully next time we see each other it’s over a bottle of wine (but I’ll take Hendricks on the rocks).
Cheers!
