You’d think a museum in the courtyard of an ornate museum celebrating European art would be a quiet, reserved, wine and cheese crowd. Not Liz and Scott. These guys can throw a party.
Liz and Scott got married this weekend at the beautiful Ringling Museum right here in Sarasota, which they made theirs for the day. While we spent several hours at the Ritz-Carlton getting ready and making pictures, the fun really started popping with a very unique limo ride (complete with fake Roman columns and fake 10,000 bills) that the entire wedding party of nearly 25 jammed into. The scenery at the Ringling Museum and Ca d’Zan is absolutely stunning. As sunset gave way to night, their quick and intimate wedding under a chandelier transitioned into an amazing night with a crew of really fun people they surround themselves with and call friends. Beautiful weather, perfect light, and plenty of twerking, drinking, and hugs to go around. Liz has a wicked sense of humor and a smile that lasts for days, so while we were surrounded by class and art, these guys balanced that with all their awesomeness.
Here’s to you two. Thank you so much for trusting me with your day and I will be rocking pink socks for the two of you at my next wedding. Congrats!
